PURPOSE: A variable bilge keel of a ship and a marine construction and a lateral rolling motion control method using the same are provided to satisfy the controlling efficiency of a rolling movement and sailing efficiency by installing a bilge keel whose one end includes a one-body lateral rolling restraint plate in variable.;CONSTITUTION: A variable bilge keel of a ship and a marine construction comprises: an insertion groove(10) which is formed in a curvature portion of a ship or a marine construction(100) to the longitudinal direction and whose one side is opened to the outside direction of the ship or the marine construction; a hydraulic cylinder(20) which is connected to the insertion groove and is installed within the ship; a bilge keel(30) which is connected to the hydraulic cylinder and placed in the insertion groove; and a rolling restraint plate(40) which is installed in order to be extended to the longitudinal direction at the both ends of the bilge keel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
