PURPOSE: A bridge forging device of a progressive die for forming a back plate of an automobile brake pad is provided to reduce the thickness of a bridge by connecting the bridge to the punch holder of the upper die and to minimize a sharp portion of the bridge by reducing the cut section of the bridge.;CONSTITUTION: A bridge forging device of a progressive die comprises a coining part, embossing part, a first piercing part, a notching part, a second piercing part, a plating part, an idle part, and a saving part. A bridge coining part(300) including an upper die(320) and a lower die(340) is formed between the second piercing part and the plating part. A punch(330) is projected on the bottom of a punch holder(326) of the upper die and exposed under the upper die through a guide hole of a stripper(328).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
