PURPOSE: A method for offering exit information and a peripheral map of a subway station in a mobile communication terminal and a device are provided to recognize a destination location easily by offering the exit information and the peripheral map through a SyncML DM server.;CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a corresponding service menu, a mobile communication terminal checks corresponding service information in a memory(300,302). In case the corresponding service information is not existed, a control unit requests a connection to a SyncML DM(Synchronization Markup Language Device Management) server(304). The control unit acquires the corresponding service information. The mobile communication terminal displays the service information(308).
