PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the drive of a vehicle in a signalized intersection is provided to effectively prevent signal violation accidents and collision accidents by controlling an accelerating device and a brake device based on current signal information.;CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the drive of a vehicle comprises: a brake device(260) performing a deceleration pedal function of the vehicle; an accelerating device(270) performing an acceleration pedal function of the vehicle; first sensors(240,250) obtaining driving direction information of the vehicle; and a vehicle control device which decides a progress type of the vehicle using signal information which is received from a signal control system and controls the brake and accelerating devices.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
