PURPOSE: A method for controlling area density of ZnO nanowire is provided to control ZnO nanowire by VLS(vapor-liquid-solid) from a metal nanoparticle catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling area density of ZnO nanowire using block copolymer micelle comprises: a step of mixing a block copolymer micelle in which metal nanoparticle precursor is loaded to a core and a block copolymer micelle in which metal nanoparticle precursor is unloaded to a core to obtain a mixture solution; a step of spin-coating micelle solution on a substrate and performing thermal decomposition to manufacture area density-controlled metal nanoparticle on the substrate; and a step of manufacturing ZnO nanowire.
