摘要

PURPOSE: An air bag control unit and a method thereof are provided to reduce errors relating to the inflation of an air bag by using a software algorithm and hardware logic.;CONSTITUTION: An air bag control unit(10) comprises an impact sensor(110), a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(120), a logic integrated circuit(130), and an ignition unit(140). The impact sensor outputs signals by sensing collision degree and collision direction. The CPU determines the first group of airbags to be inflated(150) by interpreting a signal based on a software algorithm. The logic integrated circuit determines the second group of airbags to be inflated by the input of the signals. The ignition unit supplies an ignition current for driving the airbag included in the first and the second group of airbags.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
