PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing reinforcing rods having superior rust resistance is provided to omit a packing process for the suppression of rust and to be effectively used in construction and engineering work by preventing the reinforcing rod from rusting under corrosive environments. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing reinforcing rods having superior rust resistance comprises the following steps. Steel is heated at 1000~1150C. The steel is manufactured in the shape of a reinforcing rod through rough rolling, intermediate rolling, and finishing rolling. The steel is cooled at 500~650C through a tempered core process. The reinforcing rod is coated with a silica diluted solution when the temperature of the reinforcing rod is between 150~350C while the reinforcing rod is air-cooled on a cooling bed. The silica diluted solution is spread on the reinforcing rod at the rear end of the cooling bed between jointers.
