DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE FLUID FLOW OF A DUCT CONSTRUCTED AS A FIN TYPE VANE, MAKING THE FLUID FLOW UNIFORM IN A DUCT

PURPOSE: A device for controlling the fluid flow of a duct constructed as a fin type vane is provided to extend the lifespan of a heat exchanger or a connecting duct by commutating the rotating flow of fluid through a fin type vane and then by changing the rotating flow to uniform flow.;CONSTITUTION: A device(10) for controlling the fluid flow of a duct is installed to an intake duct(1) and a connecting duct(2) to commutate the flow of fluid. The fluid rotates and simultaneously flows into the intake duct. The connecting duct is connected to the intake duct and changes the progressing direction of the fluid. Fin type vanes(3) are installed in the intake duct. The fin type vanes stand toward the entrance of the connecting duct side by side. The fin type veins are formed in square shape.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
