PURPOSE: A Thermotoga lettingae-derived heat resistant glucanase is provided to ensure glucan lysis activity at low pH concentration and to improve sugar yield.;CONSTITUTION: A heat resistant glucanase comprises an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. The heat resistant glucanase is encoded by a gene of sequence number 1. A transformed microorganism is transformed using a recombinant vector containing the heat resistant gene. The microorganism is E.coli. A method for producing the heat resistant glucanase comprises: a step of culturing transformed microorganism and a step of collecting the heat resistant glucanase from the microorganism.
