PURPOSE: Waterproofing stairs for a water tank and a waterproofing method thereof are provided to effectively prevent stored water from being contaminated by preventing the stairs from being corroded. CONSTITUTION: Waterproofing stairs(1) for a water tank comprise a stair structure(20), a panel member(30), and waterproof sheets(40). The stair structure is formed inside a water tank structure(10). The panel member is composed of a unit horizontal panel(32) and an inclined panel(34) and is formed on the top of the stair structure. The waterproof sheets are arranged in the horizontal parts(20a) and the inclined parts(20b) of the stair structure.
