摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank having a heat insulated caisson of a simple construction at low costs, while its improved heat insulating characteristics are being exhibited. SOLUTION: Two continuous waterproof barriers are provided, and one of them is a first barrier in contact with products stored in a tank, while the other one is a second barrier set between the first barrier and a support structure. Each of the barriers comprises a large number of parallelepipedic caissons 102, and each of the caissons has a bottom panel 105 and a top panel 106 each made of a plywood. The caissons are spaced apart, from one another, by means of a spacer piece 103. Each of the caissons is partially filled with a block of foamed plastics 104 formed along the height of the piece 103.
