PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a mold for a quartz crucible and a manufacturing method of the quartz crucible are provided to reduce the necessity of cutting a raw material into a small diameter thin-walled portion.;CONSTITUTION: A mold for a quartz crucible comprises a base(8) corresponding to a main body of the quartz crucible, and a mold coveR(7) corresponding to a small diameter thin-walled portion of the upper side of the crucible.
