PURPOSE: A falling protective subway foot hold is provided to operate a protecting stage after detecting the interval between a platform and a railway vehicle using position sensor.;CONSTITUTION: A falling protective subway foot hold is mounted on the bottom of the door of a train to move back and forth. A falling protective subway foot hold comprises a drive motor, a position detection sensor and a controller. The drive motor offers driving force. The position detection sensor measures the distance between a platform(13) and a train. When a measured distance is over than a specific value, the controller operates the drive motor to move the falling protective subway foot hold toward the platform.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
