Fall TIP: Validation of Icons to Communicate Fall Risk Status and Tailored Interventions to Prevent Patient Falls

摘要

This paper reports on the development and validation of a set of icons designed to communicate fell risk status and tailored interventions to prevent patient fells in hospitals. The icons will populate a fell prevention toolkit to provide actionable alerts to nurses, nursing assistants, and other interdisciplinary health care team members and educational materials for patients and femilies in acute hospital settings.
