PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling using time of an online game are provided to fundamentally block a network by using packet filtering, thereby blocking game addiction of teenagers.;CONSTITUTION: A usage request processor(110) receives a user computer ID and information about allowing time of an online game which a user sets. If a computer of a user is connected to an internet, ID-IP matching unit(140) matches the user computer identifier and an IP address assigned to the computer of the user. A usage stage checking unit(150) extracts packets transmitted from the IP address which is matches to the user computer identifier among packets transmitted from an internet.
