PURPOSE: A method and a system for selecting an optimal map of soil ecological quality based upon statistical reliability evaluation are provided to selects most reliable optimal map of a soil ecological quality in the production of a soil ecological grade numerical value map for a certain target region. CONSTITUTION: A system receives soil environment attribute data of target area and soil ecological diversity data(S102). The system evaluates at least one accuracy of learned ecological grade prediction algorithm(S105). The system predicts soil ecology class in target area which is not measured(S106). The system evaluates consistency of generated numerical value map(S108). The system selects the best digital map(S109).
