METHOD FOR OBSERVING THE MAXIMUM INSTANTANEOUS WIND SPEED FOR AN ASSESSMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

PURPOSE: A method for observing the maximum instantaneous wind speed is provided to reduce the number of equipment which is required to observe the maximum instantaneous speed by accurately measuring the maximum instantaneous wind speed for a short period. CONSTITUTION: A method for observing the maximum instantaneous wind speed comprises the following steps: grasping the prevailing wind according to a period of observing the maximum instantaneous wind; grasping the topography of an observed region; deciding a region in which the wind is strongest using the grasped topography; installing an anemometer(20) in the decided region; and observing the maximum instantaneous wind of the region in which the anemometer is installed.
