ROAD WITH HEAT ISLAND REDUCTION FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A road with a heat island reducing function is provided to lower the heated road surface and clean pollutants caused by exhaust gas by sprinkling purified rainwater. CONSTITUTION: A road with a heat island reducing function comprises a rainwater storage tank(10), a pump(20), a temperature sensor(30), and a non-point source reduction device(40). The rainwater storage tank is installed under a road surface(1) to collect rainwater and sprayed water along a waterway(2) installed on the road boundary. The pump is connected to the rainwater storage tank, pumps the water stored in the rainwater storage tank through a water spray pipe(21) installed along the center line of the road, and sprays the water to the road surface. The temperature sensor senses the temperature of the road. The non-point source reduction device is installed between the waterway and the rainwater storage tank and purifies the collected water before being stored in the rainwater storage tank.
