PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for an electronic stability program in a vehicle are provided to increase breaking power as much as power to compensate the breaking power due to pressure difference between tires even if a corresponding wheel does not have optimal pressure.;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle posture control apparatus includes a pressure sensing system(107) sensing the tire pressure of each wheel and also an ESC controller(117). The ESC controller estimates lateral force actuating on each wheel to estimate first braking power corresponding to each lateral force, and then comparing the first braking power with a second braking power by using the tire pressure of each wheel and the distortion angle of each tire presumed from the vehicle model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
