PURPOSE: A method and a system for controlling a pen pal by using a mobile terminal are provided to enable a user to receive and transmit a text message from and to an unknown person by using a text message service of a portable terminal.;CONSTITUTION: A certain portable terminal transmits a short message to a server(S1), and the server judges whether or not a client of the portable terminal is one of a new client(S2). If the client is a new client, the server transmits notice information to portable terminal(S3). The server generates and stores portable terminal identification information of the new client terminal(S4), and transmits the ID information and the short message of the destination portable terminal and the new client terminal(S5).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
