HIGH RUTTING RESISTANT GREEN ASPHALT CONCRETE USING BAILEY METHOD, AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: Green asphalt concrete and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure the high dynamic stability and indirect tensile strength of the concrete by adding recycled aggregate and special additive. CONSTITUTION: Green asphalt concrete contains 10~30wt% of recycled aggregate, 5wt% of bitumen for paving roads with the penetration rate of 80~100, 0.03~0.05wt% of special additive including slurry oil and the bitumen for paving the roads, 3~5wt% of limestone filler, and 60~80wt% of aggregate. A manufacturing method of the green asphalt concrete comprises a step of heating the recycled aggregate and mixing with the special additive, a step of reducing the shear flow value of the recycled aggregate into the range of design, and a step of heating the aggregate and the filer to mix with the previous mixture.
