PURPOSE: A 3D distance recognition apparatus is provided to recognize accurate distance to a point selected to measure even if a measurement object is a unicolor wall or transparent glass.;CONSTITUTION: A 3D distance recognition apparatus(100) comprises a stereo vision camera(110) and a pattern generator(120). The stereo vision camera detects the parallax of a point selected to measure. The pattern generator generates a pattern to be reflected on the selected point when the selected point is in an object generating no parallax. The pattern generator includes a light source using a laser or light emitting diode and a driving part(123) generating a pattern of lattice, point, circle or rectangular shape.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
