PURPOSE: A gas charging system with a residual gas compressor and a residue gas compression method are provided to reduce distribution costs and optimize charging efficiency by controlling residue gas remaining in a tube trailer.;CONSTITUTION: A gas charging system with a residual gas compressor comprises a tube trailer(110), a battery charger(120), a gas service pipe(160), an oil tank(140), an oil guide tube and an oil collection pipe(180). The tube trailer comprises a high pressure gas cylinder including a tube for injecting and exhausting oil and CNG. The battery charger comprises a charge gun for charging CNG to vehicles. The gas service pipe interlinks a gas gateway and the battery charger. The oil tank stores oil for compressing residue gas. The oil guide tube is connected between the oil tank and an oil inlet.
