PURPOSE: A conductive cooling type superconducting magnetic energy storage system for frequency stability is provided to extend the usage of conductive cooling SMES by minimizing the loss of manufacturing and installing the SMES. CONSTITUTION: In a conductive cooling type superconducting magnetic energy storage system for frequency stability, a frequency is inputted. The current of an SMES is charged(140) when inputted frequency is over a reference range. The frequency is shift down, and the current of SMES is maintained as a normal level(130). A refrigerating cools down the heat generated in charge and discharge.
