A gas insulated receiving and transforming device with a ground is provided to prevent breakdown of the device and an electric shock of a worker by grounding both ends of a power fuse. A gas insulated receiving and transforming device includes a ground(14), a ground switch(15), and a ground operating handle. The ground is connected to an automatic section switch(12). The automatic section switch is installed between an inlet(11) of a circuit and a power fuse(13). The ground switch is installed between the power fuse and a metering outfit(16). The circuit is built in the gas insulated case(20). The ground operating handle connects the ground and both ends of the power fuse by operating the ground switch and the automatic section switch. The ground operating handle is manually operated by a user.
