THE ARTIFICIAL LIGHT-WEIGHT SOIL COMPOSITION FOR ROOFTOP GARDENING AND ROOFTOP GARDENING SYSTEM USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A lightweight soil composition for a roof afforestation, and a roof afforestation system using thereof are provided to prevent the loss of a soil layer during a heavy rain, and to maintain the plant growth during a severe dry season. CONSTITUTION: A roof afforestation system including a lightweight soil composition comprises the following: a structure unit including a slab(A) and a waterproof layer(1); and a planting unit including a draining plate(2), a soil filtering layer(3), a draining soil layer(4), a cultivation soil layer(5), and a planting layer(6). The draining soil layer is formed with 65~70wt% of coal dust with the particle diameter of 2~5 meters, and 30~35wt% of coal dust with the particle diameter of 5~8 millimeters.
