PURPOSE: A method for detecting self-renewality of mouse embryonic stem cells is provided to determine that the mouse embryonic stem cells has self-renewality when one or more genes of a group comprising polynucleotide of sequence number 1 to 3 are overexpressed. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting self-renewality of mouse embryonic stem cells comprises: a step of preparing nucleic acid sample from mouse embryonic stem cells, and a step of measuring expression amount of genes selected comprising gene of sequence number 1 to 3. The step of measuring expression amount of the gene is performed by through RT-PCR (reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction) or real time-PCR.
