Method for transporting neuclear waste through life cycle cost analysis

PURPOSE: A radioactive waste transport method is provided to perform an optimum transport method by performing safety evaluation and economical efficiency evaluation through a value engineering and a life cycle cost analysis. CONSTITUTION: A transport condition is chosen(S101). A plurality of paths between a starting point and a destination is chosen(S102). Safety evaluation is performed about the paths(S103). Economical efficiency evaluation is performed about a path which satisfies a safety reference(S106). An optimum path is chosen based on a result of the safety evaluation and the economical efficiency evaluation(S108). A radioactive waste is transported through the optimum path(S109). The economical efficiency evaluation includes a life cycle cost analysis. The economical efficiency evaluation and the safety evaluation have a weighted value.
