A MIXED HERB MEDICINE EXTRACTS HAVING ANTIOXIDANT WHITENING ACTIVITY

PURPOSE: An extract with antioxidation and whitening using natural herb mixture is provided to ensure antoxidation activity by DPPH radical removal ability and skin whitening by tyrosinase suppression. CONSTITUTION: A natural herb mixture extract with antioxidation and skin whitening contains extract of 20-40 weight% of Witch Hazel(Hamamelis Virginiana), 20-40 weight% of Eucalyptus Globulus, 5-15 weight% of Melissa Officinalis, 15-20 weight% of rosehip(Rosa canina L.), 2-8 weight% of Mentha piperita L., and 2-8 weight% of Origanum vulgare. The extract is isolated by ultrasonic extraction. A pharmaceutical composition for oxidative whitening contains the natural herb mixture extract as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for oxidative whitening contains the natural herb mixture extract as an active ingredient.
