A safety assessment system for radioactivity waste underground repository and the safety assessment method

PURPOSE: A safety assessment system of a radioactivity waste underground repository and a method thereof are provided to synthetically simulate nuclide movement near radioactivity waste underground repository by calculating the flow of underground water in a base rock which is adjacent to the repository. CONSTITUTION: An input part(200) receives the evaluation condition of a radioactive waste underground repository from a user. A database(100) stores various data required for the safety assessment of the radioactive waste underground repository. A main processing part(300) evaluates the stability of the radioactive waste underground repository according to the evaluation condition. A display part(400) displays the safety assessment result of the radioactive waste underground repository offered from the main processing part.
