FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of samples using fluorescence spectroscopy. The invention employs a fluid extraction unit, an optical cell, a radiation source and a unit for detecting fluid fluorescence. The radiation source and the detection unit lie next to the optical cell. The invention uses apparatus for collecting a fluorescence signal from the extracted fluid when in a well for analysis of fluid properties.
