FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering and is designed to be used for machines harvesting tuberous roots. The swath maker includes feeler and separating devices, a raddle chain above working branch of which there are narrowing and separating augers as well as a reverse unloading conveyor installed at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the machine and there is a flipping device over the reverse unloading conveyor adjacent to the rear end of the raddle chain. The shaft of the narowing auger on the one side is made as a clod smasher equipped with an elastodeformed cover and on the other side it is made as a mentioned auger equipped with an elastic cover and adjacent to the clod smasher. The narrowing auger with the clod smasher are placed along the entire length of the raddle chain. The elastic cover of the narrowing auger is made as a sealed hose located on the shaft between the auger turns along the screw line and is equipped with a unit to supply compressed air.;EFFECT: improved performance and less amount of damaged potatoes.;2 cl, 3 dwg
