FIELD: weapons and ammunition.;SUBSTANCE: missile launching canister (MLC) preferably for a weapon of torpedo type comprises tight body with shell and facility for stacking. Stacking facility is arranged in the form of coaxial locating blocks, every of which forms undetachable joint with shell. Shell is pulled through hole in locating block. Locating block is equipped with engaging elements. Engaging elements are arranged with the possibility of interaction with according response elements for engagement of trigger barrel and/or locating blocks of other MLC. Each locating block is arranged with the possibility to form split joggles with according locating blocks of other MLC and/or response support elements of trigger barrel. Slots of joggles have trapezoidal shape, are arranged in upper parts of locating blocks and are arranged symmetrically relative to vertical plane passing through longitudinal axis of MLC. Elements of MLC engagement are arranged on side walls of locating blocks and perform function of positioning elements as MLC is loaded onto launcher. It is possible to arrange engaging elements in the form of rod and slot arranged in a single plane, orthogonal longitudinal axis of missile launching canister. Rod may be installed on lateral side of locating block in lower part of the latter, and slot is arranged in upper part of locating block and is arranged as open from upper side of locating block.;EFFECT: improved reliability of operation, simplified handling of MLC and simplification of its design.;2 cl, 3 dwg
