FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: alloy on base of R-T-B contains 0.05 wt % or less Mn also R, at least one of Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu; T is transition metal containing Fe at amount 80 wt % or more; B is substance containing B at amount 50 wt % or more and at least one of C and N at amount of not more 50 wt %. Alloy is produced by means of band casting with formation of plates of average thickness 0.1-1 mm; also average rate of melt metal supply to a cooling roller is regulated up to a level of at least 10 g/sec per 1 cm of width.
