The heater has a heating element (4) utilized as a heat source, where the temperature of the heating element amounts to more than 1500 degree Celsius. An elongated spotlight is utilized as the heating element. The heat source is accommodated in an enclosed double-walled lower part (2), where an inner shell of the lower part is designed as a reflector for heat-transferring radiation. The housing includes two parts that are movably connected with each other such that a continuous thread (1) is inserted in the opened housing.
