Cryopreservation of cell materials e.g. stem cells, semen, ejaculate, embryos, blastocysts, blood and its components and organic/chemical substances e.g. proteins, using extremely high cooling rates without cryoprotectors

Cryopreservation using extremely high cooling rates without cryoprotectors is claimed. An independent claim is also included for attaining the high cooling rates comprising (a) rapid introduction of the substances to be preserved in nitrogen slush (-210[deg] C) and (b) using coolants (less than -150[deg] C), which are conducted under extremely high pressure and without turbulence to the capillary-cryo-vessels. The capillary-cryo-vessels with the substances to be preserved exhibit a high heat conduction.
