The vehicle has a combustion engine (2), a control (1), and a detection device (3) e.g. flow meter, for detection of a fuel consumption. Fuel costs and/or carbon-dioxide-emission values for a fossil and a non-fossil fuel e.g. bio ethanol, are represented on an indicator (4) e.g. display or screen. The control stands in connection with components of the vehicle via data buses for controlling and/or for changing data. The momentary fuel consumption is output as a numeric value via the indicator, and the fuel costs are wirelessly updated.
