The motor vehicle seat has a backrest (2) and two side carriages (3) which are attached at the opposite side of the backrest. A head space ventilation unit is provided for supplying the head, neck and shoulder area of the passenger which has a heating element and an aerator. The heating element and the aerator are arranged in one of the both side carriages and are surrounded by a common housing. The heating element and the aerator form a heating module (5).
