摘要

The method involves adjusting power of an electric motor depending on a required steering support. The maximum power of the electric motor is upward limited by a threshold value. The threshold value of the maximum power is provided depending on temperature of the electric motor and temperature of an associated electronic control unit in such a manner that the threshold value is retracted with increasing temperature. A lower level is provided for the threshold value that is increased depending on the actual temperature of the motor and the control unit. An independent claim is also included for an electromechanical steering mechanism having an electric motor.
