The geothermal energy direct evaporator probe (1) has a condenser (10) and a condensate return flow (12) for a probe pipe (2), which are arranged in a probe head for condensation of an operating medium. An additional heat exchanger (9) is integrated in the probe head of low temperature source, which is arranged in a steam flow of the operating medium above the condensate return flow into the probe pipe and before the condenser.
