Multi-speed planetary gearbox i.e. automatic gearbox, for use in e.g. passenger car, has four planetary gear sets arranged in housing, and clutch detachably connecting one rotatable shaft with drive shaft
The gearbox has four planetary gear sets (P1-P4) arranged in a housing (G). Selective engagement of three brakes (03-05) and three clutches (14, 17, 68) causes different gear transmission ratios between drive and output shafts (1, 2). The output shaft is connected with an internal gear of the second gear set and an internal gear of the third gear set. A fourth clutch detachably connects a rotatable shaft (8) or another rotatable shaft (4) with the drive shaft. The first, third and fourth sets are designed as minus planetary gear sets and the second set is designed as a plus planetary gear set.
