The vehicle seat (10) has locking and release mechanism which is arranged in or at seat rails of a rail pair. A rear operating lever (2) is arranged at rear section of the vehicle seat, where a rear connecting rod is connected with rails of rail pairs (16). The rear connecting rod is coupled with front connecting rod.
