High frequency excitation compensating method for telescopic vibration damper of motor vehicle, involves deforming upper piezoelectric actuator against lower piezoelectric actuator, when mechanical force acts on lower actuator
The method involves connecting an upper piezoelectric actuator (6) of a vibration damper (1) i.e. telescopic vibration damper, with a lower piezoelectric actuator (7), where an electrical voltage resulting by force application in the lower actuator forms an input variable for the electrical voltage that is supplied to the upper actuator. The upper actuator is deformed against the lower actuator when a mechanical force acts on the lower actuator. Deformation of the upper actuator is produced by the electrical voltage outgoing from the lower actuator. An independent claim is also included for a vibration damper of a motor vehicle.
