The pump (RKP) has a drive shaft (AW) arranged in a pump housing (PGH) in a rotatable manner. A pump unit (PE) has a pump cylinder (PZ) with a cylinder area, and a pump piston that is arranged in the cylinder area in a back and forth movable manner. The pump piston stays in effective connection with the drive shaft, where the drive shaft is formed by a cam shaft of an internal combustion engine. The drive shaft is supported in the pump housing through a bearing section (LAB). The housing is made of aluminum or plastic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cylinder head and radial piston pump arrangement comprising a cylinder head (2) an internal combustion engine comprising a cam shaft.
