The bearing has an inner ring (1) that is retained or attached on a shaft (5), where the inner ring exhibits a retaining lug (4). The retaining lug is arranged at an inner surface (3) of the inner ring and extends in a radial direction towards the shaft. The retaining lug is designed as a lug-shaped projection or cam and protrudes into a groove (6) of the shaft. An outer surface (2) of the inner ring forms an inner track for a roller body. The groove is formed as circular peripheral groove at an outer surface of the shaft, which exhibits a constant diameter on both ends of the groove. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a roller bearing.
