A groove (41) is formed in the nut in which an O-ring (42) is arranged, where the nut is screwed to a pinion shaft (5) through an internal thread (43) so that inner rings (28, 29) are pre-tensioned together with taper roller bearings (15, 16) relative to a support (20) and the pinion shaft. An outer surface (44) of the nut forms a raceway (46) for two radial shaft sealing rings (47). Air space (48) is formed between the two radial shaft sealing rings.
