The device has a membrane section (72a) e.g. elastic wall, closing an inlet opening in a pre-stressed position and unclosing the opening in a less pre-stressed position. Spring elements (74, 76, 78, 80a, 80b) i.e. spiral spring elements, flexibly move the section into the pre-stressed position. A linear actuator (30) e.g. piezoelectric stack actuator, and a pusher are driven to move the section into the less pre-stressed position. The spring elements bear force from a side of the opening. The section is pressed against the pusher by the force for movement into the pre-stressed position.
