Rotatable locking mechanism i.e. portal mechanism, for twin drive-/parallel moving positioning platform, has spring elements producing counter-force against relative rotational movement between beams and posts arranged at positioning pin
The mechanism has two spring elements (30) e.g. elastic rubber, provided between cross beams (A1) and supporting posts (A2). The spring elements are arranged against the cross beams in a pressurized manner based on both sides of the cross beams. The spring elements are compressed against the supporting posts at a side of the cross beams during rotation of the cross beams. The compressed spring elements produce a counter-force against a relative rotational movement between the cross beams and the supporting posts. The cross beams and the supporting posts are arranged at a positioning pin (10).
