The fitting (1) has a set of holes (10.1-10.10) formed at corresponding ends (6.1, 6.2) of the fitting for passage of fastening units i.e. screw, and a center hole (20) formed in the center of the fitting. A recess (22) is formed within the area of the center hole for accommodating a screw head of a plate head screw i.e. high-grade steel self-boring screw. The plate head screw exhibits a recess for interference of a screwing tool. The plate head screw is screwed through the center hole. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for connecting fence elements with posts.
