The burner has a centrally arranged pilot burner (1), and a burner module surrounding the pilot burner. The module has an inner-lying, oxidizing medium-supplying-ring channel (2) and a combustible dust-supplying-ring channel (3). A combustible dust-supplying-pipe has a width of 65 mm and guided in the dust-supplying-ring channel, and a water-passing-cooling unit (9) is arranged around the dust-supplying ring channel as a casing unit. The oxidizing medium-supplying-channel has rotating bodies (8) for twisting of the oxidizing medium flow.
